The compact shape is east to grip with your thumb and forefinger, and the sharp striking edge will produce a shower of super-hot sparks from your ferro rod for igniting your campfire.  The large lanyard hole makes it easy to be secured directly to your ferro rod or pack with paracord or carabiner so that it's always handy.  Already have a nice ferro rod you love? These make a great upgrade to replace your existing steel striker that may be getting worn down or dull.  The package includes two strikers so you can have a spare for backup, or to share with a friend.
